Whether you are a seasoned model with years of experience, or this is your first time doing a real photoshoot, I can’t wait to work with you. Don’t worry, I will be there to pose you and be your biggest cheerleader for the day! We will have a memorable session!
For private boudoir shoots, I will highly encourage you to bring a friend/cheerleader. Your cheerleader must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the session. We also request that the person your bring on shoot day is someone that you are not romantically involved with unless it is a couples boudoir shoot. We want the room to be 100% focused on you for your special day.
That would be a no! There are certain circumstances that it could be arranged, but the copyright will remain with ChristoVision Photography. This is the assurance that I have taken to protect my client’s privacy. Once someone/another business owns the rights to your image, they can literally do any and everything they want to do with images that they did not help to create. They can even have the ability to make money off of your face, body or images and not pay you a dime! So to protect my clients, I ask that you get with me, and we will discuss options. If you are a professional model that is going through a legitimate company, then I will be more than happy to sign the contractual forms to release those images for the use of your professional portfolio with that company.
Oh please do! That would be the ultimate thank you when you do it. The only thing is you can’t put on any filters over the image (copyright issues) and make sure that you tag a credit line with the pictures that you choose to share. Yes you can! Trust me, like I said we do not discriminate at all. You are my client, and I am willing to assist whoever would like to work with me. If you have another that would like to be in your photos, we can make that happen. Just let me know prior to the day we shoot and we can always make adjustments!
The easiest answer to this question is NO! You are putting your trust in me as your photographer, and I want to continue that road of trust. Clothes on or clothes off, everyone has different reasons for a boudoir shoot. Please remember that this is your shoot, and you have full control over how it goes. My job as your photographer is to pose you in a manner that will accentuate your body and make you comfortable in the process. Whether you decide to rock an elegant evening gown or, your birthday suit, or something between the two, I am here to make you look and feel amazing.
This is a question that I get so many times in this industry, especially when the colder months rear their ugly heads! The greatest answer to this question is, PLEASE DO NOT! I beg of you not to get a spray tan! I know that thinking that you want to look your best for this shoot, is not what you are going to need. I say this with extreme caution, so please understand why I say no to this question in almost every other photoshoot. A spray tan can end up ruining your photoshoot and the end product! It can make your skin look patchy, streaky and even orange or green through a camera lens! Yes, I said GREEN in color. I am trying to capture the essence that you are, and not the Incredible Hulk! Dealing with spray tans are so very troublesome and time-consuming to make better on the back end. It may end up costing you more money for the clean-up after and/or more money for the extra hours it will take to complete the editing process. The best thing you can do is use something simple like shimmer body lotion, which will give you the glow we need and are looking for! I want you to look your best on your special day so please let me know your plans for your skin routine when you are ready to book!
Yes, to have a Boudoir session with me as your photographer, you must be at least 18 years of age at the time of your session. If you reside outside the State of Louisiana, please let me know so that I have time to research the laws of the state you reside in. Please do not feel offended if I ask for identification before your session! If you look great for your age, then GO YOU! But I do have a responsibility to protect my business and my clients as well.
There are no two photoshoots that are the same. I want to ensure we take enough photos so that you will have many options to choose from when the shoot is complete. After we complete our shoot, you should have at least 50-75 shots to choose from!
It is okay and it is perfectly normal for you to feel that way, but please keep in mind the scars you have are a testament to your life’s journey. Scars are perfect imperfections that make you unique. Show them with pride! Try not to think so hard about having scars! As the photoshoot moves along you will be having too much fun to even think about them being there! But if they are making you worry, we can always find different props that may minimize them from being so prevalent in your photos.
The honest answer is YES! It is completely normal to be nervous, but that is where I come in. I love to have a great time and make my clients feel comfortable and safe. On the day of your photoshoot, just know I will more than likely have a custom playlist going or your favorite music playing in the background. Like I always say, “I will be one of your biggest cheerleaders!” During our session, I will be coaching you and telling you how amazing you are doing throughout this entire time. Don’t worry, you got this!

You are the rockstar for the day! This is a special day for you and you only, which means…your body your rules! Doesn’t matter if you are rocking a full bush with armpit hair, or as bald as a naked mole rate; you are the ROCKSTAR! Anyone and everyone is welcome in front of my camera! There will never be any judgment here! At my studio, we love everyone and love to have fun while we work! Heck who knows you might end up hearing some of my wild stories throughout your shoot! Literally ANYWHERE! Normally Boudoir shoots are done in a nice studio with great lighting, a bed, a tub, and other props! But today Boudoir can be done almost anywhere with great lighting. I have even done photoshoots outdoors and in a river (crazy right). Heck, I have even done a photo shoot in a client’s house! Please remember that this is YOUR photoshoot, and you can tell me where you want to shoot and I will ensure that I check the local laws and permitting if necessary. Keep your imagination going and I am normally able to work anywhere you want to make this epic event happen!
ANYONE…EVERYONE! Boudoir is an amazing and liberating experience that I wish more people would experience. Boudoir, for the most part, has been something that more women were into doing, but the game has definitely changed! Now it involves couples, MEN, my brothers and sisters of the LBGTQ+ groups, and even older members of our communities! Boudoir isn’t necessarily meant to be provocative and full off nudity porn; it is meant to empower the people that we photographers shoot! With boudoir there are so many ways it can be done to where it can still be a confidence booster. Even if you do not think it is for you, please feel free to speak with me and I would love to educate you more on all of the different options that Boudoir can provide.
That is an easy one! Me, Chris! Any client who books a session with me will always have me as the person that they are going to work with. I will never send a replacement photographer. You granted me the opportunity to be your photographer, and I want to ensure that you get the best experience during your session!
I have said in previous posts that with my style of photography, you have absolute freedom to be as creative as you want! The only boundaries are the limitations of a creative mind! With that being said, no one will see your photos! Due to the personal nature of boudoir photography, I take my clients and my own personal pictures extremely confidential. I will not sell, use, upload, or distribute any of your images without express written consent from YOU personally! Some ladies allow me to share their images and others allow me to share their images anonymously. If that is something you are willing to do to help my business, I would be more than thankful! If not, I am still excited and extremely thankful you chose me as your photographer!
